I met up with Molly and David for a quick engagement session near their home. We had some serious sun to deal with! In April, I usually don't expect it to be quite as bright as it was. I know Molly wasn't worried about the weather, but it ended up being just an absolutely gorgeous day. Not that I don't love Molly and David, but the best part of the session was definitely Cookie, their dog. You know me and animals - I've never hardly met one that I didn't like! I look forward to photographing their wedding in just a little over a week now! Hopefully we will have just as beautiful of a day.
I met up with Megan and Kevin (and their "kids" Slush and Twinkleton) for an engagement session. It was the perfect day for a snow session! We still had tons of snow on the ground, but it was nearly 40 degrees out - caught it right before it all melted. That's my kind of snow session for sure! And these two are such a breeze to photograph. They will be getting married in October and I know it is going to be an awesome wedding to be a part of - can't wait!
I had an an engagement session the beginning of January with the cutest couple, Nichole and TJ. We had a not so good start - with poor Nichole locking her keys in her car ( I use to do this ALL the time when I was in college. She had a lot of sympathy from me!). And then it was a whopping, if I remember right, about 11 degrees outside with a really wicked wind blowing. But it was so worth it - these images turned out so well. The photographer in me loves the light and cool winter tones, and my heart just adores the way these two are so in love with each other (the smiles tell it all!). I can not wait to shoot their wedding in June!
