Every year, I always buy myself a couple new pairs of flats, mainly for shooting weddings, but just I wear flats most of the time I am shooting any session.   When I first started out as a photographer, I made the huge mistake of wearing heels to a wedding (I only ever use to wear heels.  I'm talking 100% of the time).  Well, by the end of the night, my feet were actually bleeding and blistered.  Weddings are demanding of your feet!  Six to ten hours straight standing and moving around like a crazy person means you need supportive, comfortable shoes to wear.  And through the past ten years, I have gone through a lot of shoes.  Some seemed perfect, but then they would end up rubbing my heel, or stretching out and slipping off after a few weddings.  But I am here to tell you, if you have a demanding job and need good shoes, I have found them for you - finally!  Dr. Scholl's flats.  I have the Frankie ballet flat (my favorites!) and the Women'S Friendly flat (both available on Amazon).  And do you know the best part?  These shoes are under $30!  They have a memory foam insole and breathable arch support.  And they come in a ton of different colors!

My other go to choice, Crocs Cap Toe Flat, again for under $30!  I know, you're thinking, "Crocs?"  Yes!  Super lightweight, and perfect when it rains.  You can wear these and not even know you have shoes on your feet.  I've talked to some nurses that highly recommended these, and they were not wrong.

 Go check them out!
